Workplace

Workplace Charging is the perfect option for employees and visitors to your business premises. Electric Charge Points are installed using two sockets, allowing you to charge multiple vehicles simultaneously.

Rapid charging

Commercial

Commercial Electric Vehicle Charging utilises what is known as Rapid Charging, and is suited to public places where time is limited - allowing you to charge a an Electric Vehicle to 80% in as little as 20 minutes.

Common Questions

What is the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)?
It provides support to workplaces across the country, offering savings of up to £10,000 towards the installation of workplace chargers. This offers a generous 75% reduction in costs, capped at £350 per socket, and forty individual charging stations per business.
What is the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS)?
It will cover up to £350, not only for the initial purchase of the charger itself, but also towards the installation. Every customer can claim one charge point per electric vehicle, which is capped at two per household.
Are there requirements for installation?
Adequate off-street parking.

Installation must be carried out by an OLEV accredited contractor.

The works must not be more than four months ahead.

If you are applying for the WCS, you are not required to have electric vehicles in your fleet at the time of application, however you are required to demonstrate a future need for EV Charging. Claims cannot be made retrospectively.
